Joining the team

Who can join?

People with a learning disability can become a member of the Border Links Enterprise, and join in our other courses and classes if they are over 18 years old and live within a 10 mile radius of our six community bases. If you live outside this area but want to join us, please contact us.

The people at Border Links are friendly and helpful. They'll soon help you to settle in, make friends and enjoy your time with us.

Please contact us if you would like to come along for a visit, or if you just want to find out a bit more about what we do.

What happens next?

When you, or the person helping you contact us, you will be invited to join Border Links for a taster session. You'll get the chance to meet staff and members at one of our sessions; you'll be able to find out what we do, join in the activities and see if you think that this is the place for

YOU!

If you decide to join us you will be expected to "commit" to the project for a one year period and then we'll get together to review our agreement. During the year, if you find that Border Links is really not for you, or if you are likely to be absent for a long period of time then we will review the situation.

At Border Links we welcome new people and invite them to come along and visit to see what we do.

Give us a call and we can send you some information and arrange visits to our venues.  Download our leaflet here:  Transition Leaflet
